Currently, the design of our Key Stage 2 resource incorporates all 32 learning skills, with 12 additional Solar School characters having been developed and integrated into the storyline from the outset.

Two KS2 Solar School pilot schools - Chesswood Middle School and Blackthorns Community School (Lindfield) - are both using all 32 learning skills for their Key Stage 2 pupils. However, other West Sussex schools are free to adapt the learning skills table to reflect their own programme and an edited version of the KS2 Solar School resource can be provided containing just the 20 ACRO skills*.

*NB: Please note that to provide an edited version, at the current time, two elements provided within the Full KS2 Solar School resource (the storyline and Class Photo), will be removed. This means there will be some gaps in continuity in the narrative of the edited version. Please notify the WSCC ACRO Team if you intend to use the edited version please email info@wssolarschool.org.uk.
